Guided tours for school classes

In the realm of sustainability, LASK is not only concerned with climate and environmental protection but also deeply engaged in social initiatives. The world record attempt in simultaneous resuscitation training conducted in collaboration with our Leading Partner, Original Kornspitz, prior to the Cup quarter-final match against Salzburg serves as a part of our educational program. Through this initiative, along with our partners, we aim to educate children and young people about the importance of sports and health. As part of this effort, we also offer exclusive stadium tours through the Raiffeisen Arena for school classes.

Educational programs for sports and health

As LASK, we aim to sustainably fulfill our social responsibility and as a family-friendly club, we seek to introduce children in Upper Austria to the realms of sports, education, and health. As part of the "Sport & Fun with the Stars" initiative by the City of Linz, over 100 kindergarten children visited the Raiffeisen Arena in October 2023, where they learned about the importance of sports, physical activity, and also got acquainted with the new stadium.

During the Apprentice Day, which also took place in October of last year, LASK organized educational and health workshops for nearly 120 apprentices in the BWT Business Club. In spring 2025, the gates of the Raiffeisen Arena will open for the Linz Action, where students from the surrounding areas can participate in courses covering various topics. Collaborating with the neighboring Olympic Center Upper Austria, workshops aimed at raising awareness about sports, education, and health are planned, thus completing the circle initiated by the world record attempt.

420 students have practice in the Olympic Center

The "Olympic Center Upper Austria" is the centerpiece of elite and performance sports in Upper Austria. In 2004, the Austrian Olympic Committee first awarded the State Sports Center with the title and quality seal of "Olympic Center." Since then, it has ensured goal-oriented structures for high-performance sports and provided high-quality support for elite athletes. The aim is to enable many Upper Austrian athletes to participate in Olympic Games, Paralympics, World Championships, and European Championships and to win medals or achieve top placements through the best possible promotion and support at the Olympic Center.

Currently, around 110 athletes are being supported at the Olympic Center, with offerings from key areas such as sports science, psychology, medicine, performance diagnostics, physiotherapy, and nutrition science. Additionally, approximately 420 students from the Talent Center Upper Austria (BORG and HAS for high-performance sports, Georg von Peuerbach Gymnasium) train weekly at the Olympic Center Upper Austria.

Introducing these structures and opportunities to children as part of the Linz Action, nurturing their enthusiasm for movement and sports, and thus contributing to their healthy development is a significant concern of the Olympic Center. It is a heartfelt endeavor.

Exclusive insight into the Raiffeisen Arena

As part of our own stadium tours, we also offer school classes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Raiffeisen Arena. Our aim is to make the children's eyes sparkle and provide the students with an unforgettable experience at LASK's home ground.
