LASK announces another addition in attack: Bryan Teixeira joins the Athletiker with immediate effect, signing a contract until 2027 with an option for a further year. The 24-year-old from Cape Verde most recently played for Bundesliga rivals SK Sturm Graz.

Teixeira first made a name for himself in Austria during his spell at Austria Lustenau. The France-born winger joined the Vorarlberg club in the summer of 2021 from his boyhood side Clermont Foot, where he had made his professional debut in Ligue 2 in November 2019. With ten goal contributions in 23 appearances, he played a key role in their promotion to the Bundesliga. Once there, Teixeira impressed with six goals and seven assists in just 16 matches.

A move to SK Sturm followed, where the attacking player made 24 top-flight appearances and also featured in the UEFA Europa League as well as Champions League qualifying. Most recently, he was loaned out to 2. Bundesliga side FC Magdeburg, scoring twice. After returning to Graz at the end of the season, both parties decided to part ways.

At LASK, the 24-year-old—who can be deployed flexibly across the frontline—signs a deal running until June 30, 2027, with an option for an additional year. He becomes the club’s second Cape Verde international after Fabio Silva, who played for the Black-and-Whites in the 2013/14 campaign. Teixeira will wear the number 23 shirt for the Linz side.

With Bryan, we are gaining a versatile attacking player who provides us with an additional option across several positions, including on the wing. He brings strong technical qualities as well as good pace on the ball. Thanks to his dribbling ability, he is capable of breaking open one-on-one situations. We are confident that our playing style will suit him and allow him to make the most of his strengths.

Dino Buric, Sporting Director

Sporting director Dino Buric and head coach Joao Sacramento showed great commitment in bringing me here, and in our conversations I felt a strong sense of interest and trust. The club itself and the excellent infrastructure, especially the Raiffeisen Arena, also left a big impression on me, and I am convinced that joining LASK is exactly the right step for me at this point in my career.
