Adil Taoui signs long-term contract with LASK

Following Florian Flecker, Adil Taoui also extended his contract with LASK. The 22-year-old signed with the team until the summer of 2027.

The Frenchman's original contract was set to run until 2025, but an early extension for an additional two years has now been agreed upon. The offensive player joined LASK's amateur team in the fall of 2022 after stints with FC Toulouse, where he made his first appearances in Ligue 1, and SC Bastia. Taoui made his professional debut for LASK in March 2023 in a 3-2 victory against WSG Tirol.

This year, the youngster celebrated his comeback after recovering from a knee injury and has repeatedly impressed with strong performances. In the 2-1 win in Hartberg, Taoui made his first appearance in the starting lineup, a feat he repeated in the following matches against Rapid, in Klagenfurt, and against Sturm. During the 5-0 victory over the Hütteldorfer, he celebrated another milestone by scoring his first goal and providing his first assist, marking his debut on the scoresheet.
