The second half of the Bundesliga final round is about to begin: After Tuesday’s 4–1 away win, LASK will face SK Austria Klagenfurt once again on Saturday (5:00 PM, live on Sky Sport Austria) — this time at home in the Raiffeisen Arena.

LASK has made history as the first team since the introduction of the points split to win all of its first five matches in the Bundesliga’s Qualification Group. That run includes the debut victory of interim head coach Maximilian Ritscher just days ago, as the Linzers put on an attacking display in Klagenfurt. Maximilian Entrup scored twice, with Sascha Horvath and Florian Flecker adding a goal each in a dominant 4–1 away win in Carinthia. The result allowed LASK to maintain their lead at the top of the bottom-six playoff table, now sitting ten points clear of TSV Hartberg.

They will look to build on that momentum in Saturday afternoon’s return fixture against Klagenfurt at the Raiffeisen Arena. A sixth consecutive Bundesliga win would mark another milestone for the team — a feat LASK has only achieved four times since returning to the top flight, most recently during a seven-match winning streak in autumn 2019. “We want to keep performing well, play successful and attractive football, and collect as many points as possible to give ourselves a strong position for a potential playoff,” said striker Maximilian Entrup, looking ahead to the second half of the Qualification Group campaign.

Previous Season Encounters in LASK’s Favor

LASK has come out on top in all three encounters with the Carinthians this season. A 4–0 win in the autumn was followed by a 2–1 victory and the recent 4–1 triumph — both away at the Wörthersee. The Linzers remain unbeaten against Klagenfurt in competitive play: in 24 official matches, the southern Austrian side has yet to claim a single win. Most recently, LASK has recorded five consecutive victories over Peter Pacult’s team.

Club Matchday & Discounted Tickets

Saturday’s match is all about celebrating Club Matchday! Football clubs from across Upper Austria were invited to submit group orders — and for every ticket purchased, they received one for free. Starting at 1:00 PM, participating clubs can look forward to an exclusive stadium experience packed with a fun and varied program. The largest groups of young supporters will be rewarded with the Supporter Award, and around 100 kids will take on three LASK players in the exciting Raiffeisen “Wir-machts-möglich” Challenge.

As a thank-you for the loyalty and support throughout the season, discounted tickets are once again available in Sector N6 on the Family Stand. Thanks to Raiffeisenlandesbank Upper Austria, kids can attend for just €10. Adults also benefit from this special offer, which is valid for all home games during the final round.

We’ll approach the return leg with the same mindset as on Tuesday, focusing on our performance and our game. There were a lot of positives in the first match, and we want to build on that. The few phases where we weren’t at our best are areas we aim to reduce even further — so we can deliver a consistent performance over the full 90 minutes.
