Florian Flecker will remain with LASK in the coming years. The 28-year-old has extended his contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season, until the summer of 2027.

Florian Flecker joined LASK in 2021 from TSV Hartberg after stints in Germany with Union Berlin and Würzburger Kickers. Over the past three years, the Styrian has played 113 competitive matches for LASK, contributing 14 goals and 14 assists. He has now extended his contract, which was set to expire in the summer, for three more years until 2027.

In the current season, Flecker has appeared in 40 out of 43 matches, scoring six goals and providing three assists. One of the season's highlights was his spectacular opening goal against Liverpool in the Europa League last autumn. Recently, the offensive player has truly flourished, scoring four times in the last five league games. With goals in consecutive matches against Hartberg and Rapid, the 28-year-old achieved a career first by scoring in three consecutive Bundesliga games.

Florian is an immensely important player for us, both on the field and in the locker room. He possesses outstanding character and has particularly demonstrated excellent performances in recent weeks. We are convinced that his class, experience, and personal qualities will bring us much joy in the years to come and assist us in achieving our goals.

Radovan Vujanovic, CSO

I am very excited to continue playing for LASK and being part of the team. I feel really comfortable here and have enjoyed the last three years immensely. Now, I am looking forward to the next three seasons with great anticipation, as I have big plans with the club. Recently, things have been going really well for me, and I aim to continue that momentum into the new season. I want to contribute with strong performances to help the team succeed together.
