Friendly Match Against Union Berlin

The first confirmed opponent in LASK’s summer pre-season is now set: German Bundesliga side 1. FC Union Berlin. The club from the German capital has been competing in the top flight for six consecutive years and made its debut in the UEFA Champions League group stage during the 2023/24 season. Union currently sit 13th in the Bundesliga standings. The upcoming clash will mark the first-ever meeting between the Upper Austrians and the team from Köpenick — and could feature a reunion with former LASK striker Marin Ljubičić, who joined head coach Steffen Baumgart’s side this past winter.

The match will take place on July 19 at LASK’s Raiffeisen Arena. Kick-off time is yet to be confirmed. Additional pre-season fixtures will be announced soon, and ticket information will follow in due course.
