International top clubs visit the Raiffeisen Arena

As was the case last year, it is once again up to LASK to kick off the Summer Series Upper Austria with the opening match. The Athletiker will take on Croatian top club Hajduk Split on Friday, July 18, at 7:30 PM. The nine-time national champions finished third in the SuperSport HNL for the second consecutive season. Their squad, with a market value of €43.6 million, includes longtime Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic.

The following day, LASK invites fans to the official Season Opening at the Raiffeisen Arena. At 3:30 PM, traditional German club Union Berlin, featuring former LASK striker Marin Ljubicic, will visit the capital of Upper Austria. Following the match, the official team presentation will take place, including autograph and photo opportunities with players and coaches. Season ticket holders with Abo Plus or Abo LASK have the Opening event included.

Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray will also play two matches as part of the Summer Series at the Raiffeisen Arena. The reigning champions will once again hold their training camp in Windischgarsten, Upper Austria, and will face second-division side Admira Wacker on July 20. The series will conclude with a Wednesday evening clash against Serie A side Cagliari Calcio. Galatasaray, who competed in the UEFA Europa League last season, boasts a squad valued at over €260 million and features stars such as new signing Leroy Sané and prolific striker Mauro Icardi.
