LASK begins preparations

As third in the table, LASK concluded the 2023/24 Bundesliga season. The kick-off for the 2024/25 season for the Athletiker will take place on Wednesday, June 19, with the first training session at the Raiffeisen Arena training ground.

With the first training session on June 19 at 11:00 AM, preparations for the new season will commence under the guidance of head coach Thomas Darazs. The following day, the players will undergo performance diagnostic tests. The first friendly match is set for June 28, as part of the Zipfer competition, against ASKÖ Oedt, the winner of the Fair Play award and current champion of the LT1 Upper Austria League.

Additional matches have also been scheduled: on July 2 against the eight-time Romanian champion CFR Cluj, and on July 5 against the Czech team Dynamo Budweis. Both games will be broadcast via livestream. On Saturday, July 20, following the friendly match against SKN St. Pölten at the Raiffeisen Arena, the team presentation will take place in the fan zone. Further details on the summer preparation matches will be announced soon.

The season will officially kick off with the first round of the ÖFB Cup on the weekend of July 26/27/28, with the draw taking place on Monday afternoon. A week later, the new season of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga will begin.
