LASK Trio in the National Team
While the summer break has already begun for many of our athletes, the season is fortunately being extended for Tobias Lawal, Andres Andrade, and Krystof Danek. The black-and-white trio has been called up for their national teams' current training camp.
Tobias Lawal
Our #1 was not only a true pillar of strength for LASK once again in the past season, but his performances also did not go unnoticed by head coach Ralf Rangnick. Alongside Patrick Pentz (Bröndby IF), Nikolas Polster (Wolfsberger AC), and Nicolas Schmid (FC Portsmouth), Tobias Lawal completes the goalkeeper team for the current training camp. On June 7, the national team will play its first match in the World Cup qualifiers at home against Romania, followed by the next qualifier away against San Marino three days later. We wish Tobias an injury-free training camp and many valuable experiences!
Andres Andrade
Our Panamanian Andres Andrade has not only made a stronger-than-ever comeback with us after his cruciate ligament tear, but he’s also back with the Panama national team! In addition to the World Cup qualifiers, Panama will also be competing in the Concacaf Gold Cup, which kicks off on June 17. We wish Andres all the best for these matches and an injury-free training camp as well!
Krystof Danek
The season is also being extended for our loanee Krystof Danek. The 22-year-old will take part in the European Championship in Slovakia with the Czech U21 national team. In the group stage of the tournament, he will face top-class matches against the U21 teams of England and Germany. We wish our #9 a strong and injury-free start to the European Championship!
U18 Call-Up Replacement
Our youngster Christoph Breinesberger has been called up to the U18 squad for the friendly double-header against Finland. Best of luck!
